- GORE-TEX fabric with ePE membrane is a breakthrough technology designed to keep you dry without intentionally added PFAS* (per- or polyfluorinated chemicals), offering environmental benefits. Two layers of different materials are combined for durable waterproof performance and maximum breathability:
- Weather- and abrasion-resistant 100% recycled face fabric
- 100% waterproof and breathable GORE-TEX ePE membrane that ensures no water gets in, while allowing sweat vapor to get out Danner’s relationship with the GORE-TEX brand dates back to 1979 when we developed and introduced the world’s first GTX lined boot, the Danner Light.

- Stowable Hood
- A stowable hood offers the wearer greater versatility and value by extending the number of seasons in which the jacket can be worn and varying the level of protection from the elements depending on need. Stowable hoods constructed of 2- or 3-layer recycled GORE-TEX ePE membrane are especially effective at preventing water from getting in, while allowing sweat vapor to get out.
- Rear Pockets
- The two zip-closure rear pockets on this item take their inspiration from the “game pocket”—a large, dedicated back pocket that is a feature common on traditional hunting jackets and intended for temporarily holding small to medium-sized game while hunting in the field. Stitched under a reinforced welt for added strength and durability, ours is designed to fit the jacket’s stowable hood and leave plenty of room to spare for essentials.
